Project Summary:

The family Noctuidae is the most diverse of all groups of moths with over 2,900 species in North America. The research proposed is to document this family within Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP). To date, 492 species or 16.8% of the North American fauna have been found in GSMNP.
